LEATHER HEART FOUNDATION MOVES FORWARD FOR 2017
Our Community, Our Heart
The Leather Heart Foundation is honored to serve our community and looks forward to continuing to provide these services. The increased demand for services provided by the Leather Heart Foundation, however, has spread our all-volunteer organization thin and depleted our finances. Thus, in our effort to fulfill our mission and enhance our ability to provide assistance to those in need, we have decided to take time to restructure our organization, seek additional volunteers to help us review the growing number of applications we see, and rebuild our coffers through fund raising. To that end, we enacted a temporary stop on new applications for assistance in January 2017. This pause on new applications is temporary while we reorganize. The Leather Heart Foundation will continue its work during the remainder of 2017 to re-staff, reorganize, and raise necessary funds; and, with your assistance, we plan to reopen with fully operational staff resources and funds in July 2017.
We are asking for your help! Without the support of the community, we are unable to continue providing the valuable and necessary support for our community members in need. The Leather Heart Foundation will be ramping up our fundraising efforts and seeking additional staff resources. Please watch for updates, share, volunteer and assist in raising needed funding.
We believe that the Leather Heart Foundation is a critical and necessary community resource, and we think you do too.
We appreciate the past and continued support of so many in our community who contribute to supporting our own and encourage you to spread the word!

In Leather….with heart, Leather Heart Foundation Board of Directors and Staff
About the Leather Heart Foundation: The Leather Heart Foundation provides financial hardship assistance to members of a broad spectrum of our kinky communities. Founded in 2009, the foundation is a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization. We are staffed by volunteers and are grateful for the support by contributions from many individuals, clubs, and organizations across the country.
We are made up of many volunteers, including a Board of Directors, Officers, and several Staff members. Our Staff and volunteers are scattered across the country, from Atlanta to San Diego to Asbury Park.
We are the only national organization of our kind: an organization of, by and for kinksters and leather folk whose sole purpose is to help our brothers sisters who are experiencing financial hardship.
